Return / Exchange Policy
At GemAstro, your satisfaction is our top priority. With over 20 years of excellence in Gem Therapy, we are committed to ensuring you experience complete confidence and happiness with every purchase. If, for any reason, you are not delighted with your gemstone, we are here to make it right.
1. 14-Day Easy Return (100% Refund)
If you are not fully satisfied with your loose gemstone purchase, you may return it within 14 days of delivery (counted from the date of product delivery) for a 100% refund of the invoice value less applicable transactional / payment gateway / processing charges, subject to the deductions and conditions mentioned below.

Refunds will be processed to your original payment method after inspection and verification.
2. 15–25 Day Extended Return (Coupon / In-Store Credit)
If you place a return request after 14 days but within 25 days, we will still accept it. In such cases, instead of a direct refund, you will receive either:
- A Custom Coupon equivalent to the applicable amount, with 6 months validity, or
- In-Store Credit of the applicable amount, usable against future purchases for the applicable tenure.
The choice of issuing a Custom Coupon or In-Store Credit will be at GemAstro's discretion, based on the nature of the order and internal policies. Any such Coupon or In-Store Credit is non-transferable and cannot be encashed.
3. Return Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for return / refund / coupon / in-store credit:
- Gemstone must be unused, unmounted, and undamaged.
- Must include original lab certification(s), invoice, and original packaging.
- Product must not be tampered, altered, or modified.
- Original invoice with company seal is mandatory for legal and tax compliance.
4. Non-Refundable Items & Deductions
The following are NOT eligible for refund/return OR will be deducted from the refundable amount wherever applicable:
- Custom-made jewelry (rings, pendants, talismans, set gemstones)
- Shipping, handling, and appraisal charges (if applicable)
- All applicable transactional / payment gateway / processing charges that are charged by banks / payment processors for your order. These charges are non-refundable and will be deducted from the refund amount wherever a monetary refund is issued.
- Labour / making charges for rings, pendants, or custom settings (if any)
- GST deduction (3%) on domestic returns from India, as applicable
5. Shipping Guidelines
- Customer bears return shipping costs (unless the return is due to an error or defect from GemAstro's side).
- Items must be securely packed and insured for their full value.
- Refunds, coupons, or in-store credits are issued only after quality inspection and verification of documents.

Notes & Legal Compliance
This policy is registered with tax and legal authorities. Refunds cannot be processed without the original invoice bearing GemAstro's seal, as it must be submitted as proof to regulatory bodies. Missing documents may render refunds or credits ineligible.
